Day 1: Practical Applications of 3D Printing in Dentistry
Morning Session
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Hands-On Chair-Side 3D printing system setup, Calibrate and get ready for printing - Learning how to process and prepare 3D models, including exporting and importing in STL format.
10:45 AM - 12:00 PM: 3D Printing and Post-Processing of Inlay, Onlay, Crowns and Bridges- Demonstrating the use of resin 3D printing technology for making temporary crowns and bridges. - Hands-on practice with cleaning, curing, and polishing as post-processing techniques.
Afternoon Session
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Printing of Aligners and Retainers- Instructions on preparing and 3D printing customized aligners and retainers. - Hands-on practice, including 3D printing and post-processing.
2:45 PM - 4:00 PM: Anatomical Models and Implants - Discussion on creating anatomical models for surgical planning using 3D printing. - Hands-on practice with 3D printing of implants and customized surgical guides.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Casting Models and Provisional - Overview of the process for 3D printing provisional, hands-on practice in creating precise dental models.
Day 2: Enhanced Practical Training and Course Conclusion
Morning Session
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Enhanced Practice - Based on the content learned on Day 1, participants will engage in enhanced practical training to consolidate skills.
10:45 AM - 12:00 PM: The Future of 3D Printing Applications in Dentistry - Discussion on the challenges, limitations, and future trends of 3D printing in the dental field. - Course evaluation and closing ceremony.
