Course Overview

  • Objective: Train dentists to perform Atraumatic and efficient extractions and immediately provide 3D printed flippers as interim tooth replacements within the same day.

  • Duration: 1 day (approximately 8 hours, including breaks).

  • Format: Theoretical instruction, practical demonstrations, and hands-on sessions.

Morning Sessions

1. Introduction to Dental Extractions and Immediate Care (9:00 AM - 9:30 AM)

  • Overview of indications for dental extractions with an immediate replacement solution.

  • The importance of immediate esthetic and functional restoration in patient care.

2. Techniques for Efficient Extractions (9:30 AM - 10:30 AM)

  • Step-by-step guide to performing simple and surgical extractions.

  • Pain management and anesthesia techniques tailored for quick recovery.

3. Overview of Dental Flippers as Immediate Solutions (10:30 AM - 11:00 AM)

  • Benefits and procedural integration of dental flippers post-extraction.

  • Role of flippers in maintaining aesthetics and function immediately after extraction.

4. 3D Printing Technologies in Immediate Dental Care (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

  • Introduction to the rapid 3D printing methods suitable for dental practices.

  • Selection of materials that facilitate quick production and placement.

Lunch Break (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)

Afternoon Sessions

5. Designing and Producing 3D Printed Flippers (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM)

  • Hands-on training in designing flippers using CAD software immediately following extractions.

  • Practical session on the quick 3D printing of designed flippers.

6. Same-Day Placement of 3D Printed Flippers (2:30 PM - 3:30 PM)

  • Techniques for finishing, fitting, and adjusting flippers on the day of the extraction.

  • Discussion on ensuring comfort and functionality with the immediate placement.

7. Clinical Workflow and Patient Management (3:30 PM - 4:30 PM)

  • Integrating same-day extraction and flipper placement into daily dental practice.

  • Communicating with patients about the process, benefits, and care of immediate flippers.

8. Course Review, Q&A, and Certification (4:30 PM - 5:00 PM)

  • Recap of key techniques and concepts.

  • Final Q&A session to clarify doubts and reinforce learning.

  • Distribution of certificates of completion.
